A notification for the recruitment of tax assistant, stenographer gr-II, havaldar, and multitasking staff under the Sports Quota was published in the employment newspaper on October 9, 2021 by the Directorate General of Performance Management (DGPM), Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.

Athletes who meet the requirements and are interested in applying can do so offline no later than Friday, November 5, 2021. Male and female candidates will be sought for the following sports: Cricket, Hockey, Football, Swimming, and Athletics. Male and female candidates will be sought for the following sports: 200-meter freestyle swimming and athletics. Male and female candidates will be sought for Badminton singles.

Educational Qualification:

Tax assistants

Tax assistants must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university or an institution of higher learning. Should have a basic understanding of how to use a computer. A minimum key depression rate of 8000 per hour is required for data entry.

Stenographer Gr-II –

A high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution is required for the position of stenographer in Grade II. tests of ability norms not more than 80 words per minute on the record. In 50 minutes of English or 65 minutes of Hindi, the following transcript will be provided (On Computer)

Havaldar –

A matriculation or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution of higher learning is required to become a havaldar.

The 10th grade M.T.S. test was successfully completed.

Age:

18 to 27 years

Qualification in Sports

Athletes who have won medals or have represented their country in the above-mentioned events, with the approval of the Department of Youth Affairs & Sports, should apply.

State/U.T. in the Senior or Junior level National Championships organised by the national Sports Federations recognised by the Deptt. of Youth Affairs & Sports or National Games organised by the Indian Olympic Association.

n inter-university competition organised by the Association of Indian Universities/Inter-university sports board involves universities competing against one another.

State Schools compete in All-India School Games Federation national school sports and games.
