If qualified, check your reporting instructions online by clicking here or by calling 1(800)327-3296 after 7:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to your scheduled appearance. NOT ALL JURORS will be instructed to report.

If you live 80 miles or more one-way from the courthouse, please check the website or call after 11:00 a.m on the Monday prior to your scheduled appearance, as this will provide you with enough notice to travel and check into a hotel the day before your report date.

Payment

If you are instructed to report for jury service, you are entitled to a $50.00 attendance fee for each day of attendance and 65.5 cents per mile, round trip, even if you take public transportation.

Payment is based on the actual mileage necessarily traveled to and from the juror’s residence by the shortest practical route in going to and returning from the place of service. See 28 U.S.C. § 1871(c)(1). When reporting to the courthouse to begin their service, jurors should thus be prepared to provide the actual mileage traveled round-trip between their residence and the courthouse.
