To access your REI Co-op Mastercard account online, follow these steps:
- Visit the REI Co-op Capital One Credit Card Login page at https://rei.capitalone.com/.
- If you already have a Capital One online account, sign in using your credentials.
- If you don’t have an account yet, choose the option to set up your account.
- If you’ve forgotten your username or password, there’s a link to recover them.

Activate your card as soon as it arrives, and you can start enjoying all it has to offer.
- Sign in to your account (capitalone.com login)—online or on the Capital One Mobile app. (Text “MOBILE” to 80101 for a link to download).
- Choose the account linked to your debit card.
- Look for a button to activate your card (capitalone.com activate card) next to the debit card delivery tracker online, or below your account balance in the mobile app.
- Select “Activate Your Card” and follow the steps shown. You may be asked to set a PIN to complete the activation process.

What do my Total REI Rewards include?
Your Total REI Rewards include:
- Your Co-op Member Reward, which is typically 10% back* annually on eligible full price purchases; and
- REI Co-op® Mastercard® Rewards (if you’re an REI Co-op Mastercard holder)
*10% is typical but not guaranteed. Your Co-op Member Reward is based on eligible net qualified purchases, which exclude REI Outlet items, sale, clearance, discounted items, used gear, gift cards, REI classes, tours and events, REI adventure travel, shipping charges, service fees (e.g., rentals, labor, shop services), membership fee, REI Cooperative Action Fund donations, postage, event tickets, passes or registrations, government agencies and sales tax.
How can I spend my Total REI Rewards?
You can shop at REI with your Total REI Rewards as soon as you receive notice of them in the mail. Notices go out in March to active members who earned Total REI Rewards on eligible purchases during the previous year. They’re valid through their respective listed expiration dates. Only the primary member (not a spouse or other family member) may redeem their Total REI Rewards.
REI Co-op Mastercard Rewards can be redeemed as they’re earned and are available for redemption when posted to your account (generally 1-2 business days after the purchase is posted).
To redeem your Total REI Rewards:

- Shop at any REI store
- Shop with the REI mobile app (download free from the App Store)
- Book a trip with REI adventure travel
