When the 2023 Indy 500 rolls around, Legge will be the lone female driver in the field and only the ninth woman to compete in the race.

Both Sato and Castroneves will be attempting to break the record for most Indy 500 victories by a driver with five victories each.

Adam Driver, an actor nominated for an Oscar, will be the Indy 500’s honorary starter.
