To activate your new Asda Mobile SIM, login to your Online Account mobile.asda.com/activate-sim using the username and password you created when ordering the pre-loaded SIM. Once you’re logged in you will be able to activate your bundle and manage your account online.
A bundle contains a mixture of minutes, texts and/or data for a fixed price and lasts for a full calendar month.
The minutes in a bundle can be used to call any UK Mobile (on any network), and any UK landline beginning in 01, 02 or 03 and access to voicemail. Texts can be used to message any mobile phone on a UK network.

1. Remove the Asda mobile SIM from your welcome pack.
2. Carefully push out whichever SIM size you need for your handset.
3. Locate your SIM tray (this is usually on the side, top or bottom of your handset).
4. Open it using the tool that came with your phone
5. Remove your old SIM card, and replace it with your new Asda SIM, making sure it’s the right way around
6. Re-insert your SIM tray
How do I know if my SIM has been activated?
Asda Mobile will send you a text as soon as we’ve detected your SIM. You’ll need to be in an area that the network covers. You may need to restart your device first before you can pick up a signal

Please note: you can use Asda mobile without a bundle, by using the standard rates. However, depending on your usage, you’re likely to get better value by using one of our bundles.Â

You can also use the bundle allowance in numerous European destinations to call or text any UK mobile, as well as call any standard landline in Europe including back to the UK. You can also use the data included in your bundle at no extra cost. (All bundle customers have a 5GB data roaming limit, regardless of whether your bundle limit is higher than this. Once you have used 5GB of data you will be charged 10p per MB, the same as you would pay for data in the UK.

How do I register for My Account and what details do I need to provide?
To register for your free online account, click here and enter your details.
You’ll need to provide the following information: –
Your name.
Your email address.
Your Asda Mobile number.
A username and password.
How do I transfer my number to Asda Mobile?
It’s easy to transfer your number to Asda Mobile. Once we’ve delivered your new Asda mobile SIM, here’s what you need to do:
1. Request your PAC code – The easiest way to get your PAC code from your previous provider, is to text ‘PAC’ to 65075 (free of charge) and you’ll be sent your code along with full details of remaining credit or account charges. Alternatively, call your current or previous mobile provider and ask for your PAC code. As long as the number is still active, they will be able to provide your PAC code which will be valid for 30 days.
2. Activate your new SIM – Simply put your new SIM into your phone and register or login to your Asda mobile free online account. If you need to link your number to your account, just click the navigation menu once logged in and click ‘link number to my account’.
3. Transfer your old number. You can use your online account to transfer your number across to Asda mobile. Simply log in or register here, go to ‘My profile’ and scroll down to ‘transferring your number’. You’ll need to have your PAC code ready from your previous network to do this.
Alternatively, you can call 2732 to request your number transfer – just remember to have your PAC code from your previous supplier and your new SIM card and temporary number to hand.
If you submit the transfer request before 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, your number will be transferred the next working day. Please note that we don’t transfer numbers at the weekend or on bank holidays, therefore if you request to port on a weekend or a bank holiday your number will be transferred in 2 working days. This transfer will happen between 05:00 and midnight and on the day of transfer you will lose signal on your old SIM card.
4. Swap your SIM card. Once you’ve lost signal on your phone, just insert your new Asda mobile SIM card.
Please note: you may experience intermittent service on your new SIM card for a few hours after your number transfers over. This can include a period of time where you can receive calls and texts but cannot make calls, send texts or use data. This is normal and is usually resolved within a few hours, but can take up to 24 hours. Keep turning your phone off and on if you do experience any service problems that last longer than a few hours after you insert your new SIM card.
