Login to the PMMVY CAS, please visit https://pmmvycas.nic.in, log in with respective Scheme Facilitator’s login details. The date of registration of the beneficiary in the MCP card must be within 150 days from the LMP date to be eligible to claim the First Instalment under the scheme.
Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) is a Centrally Sponsored DBT scheme with the cash incentive of ₹ 5000/- (in three instalments) being provided directly in the bank/post office account of Pregnant Women and Lactating Mothers.
The benefit is available to a woman for the first two living children provided the second child is a girl. In case of the first child the amount of ₹5000 in two instalments and for the second child, the benefit of ₹6000 will be provided subject to second child is a girl child in one instalment after the birth. However, for availing benefits for second child, registration during the pregnancy shall be mandatory. This would contribute to improve the Sex Ratio at Birth and to prevent female foeticide.
How to Apply for Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana?
Step 1 : Check out https://pmmvy-cas.nic.in, the PMMVY scheme’s official website.
Step 2: Select the ‘Beneficiary Login’ button.
Step 3: Select the ‘Click Here’ link next to the ‘Registering New User’ option.
Step 4. Create a new user account for the intended recipient in Step 4. Fill out the form with the recipient’s information, including their name, phone number, email address, username, password, etc.
Step 5: Use your email address and password to access your account.
Step 6: Click the ‘New Beneficiary’ button in Step 6.
Step 7: You will add a new beneficiary by filling out the form with their name, address, bank information, etc.
Step 8: Please select the ‘Verify’ button to finalise your PM Matritva Vandana Yojana application.
The beneficiary is required to do at least one ANC for availing 2″4 instalment. The instalment may be claimed after 6 months (180 days) from the LMP date.
Since only government hospitals have authority to register/ update the MCP Card, beneficiary taking services from private hospitals can not avail the benefit of the scheme as MCP card details are mandatory for claiming any instalment under PMMVY. However, if the requisite conditions are duly certified by a government doctor or officer/ functionary of the Health Department not below the rank of ANM, the beneficiary can claim maternity benefit under PMVVY and the claim should be accepted by the Field Functionary (AWW/ANM/ASHA).
What is the process of filling form for 1st instalment in PMMVY CAS?
Following are the Steps required to fill 1st instalment in PMMVY CAS:-
a. Login to the PMMVY Software, please visit https:// pmmvy-cas.nic.in, log in with respective Scheme Facilitator’s login details;
b. Search for the beneficiary if already registered with the identification details provided by the beneficiary;
c. If the beneficiary is not found – Click on “New Beneficiary” for registering the beneficiary under PMMVY scheme;
d. Fill in the details as per the Beneficiary Registration Form (follow the instructions provided in PMMVYCAS User Manual);
Note – Beneficiary registration form is also form for claiming the First Instalment of maternity benefit.
What is the process of filling 2nd and 3rd instalments in the PMMVY-CAS?
a. Login to the PMMVY CAS, please visit https://pmmvycas.nic.in, log in with respective Scheme Facilitator’s login details;
b. Search for the beneficiary with the identification details provided by the beneficiary;
c. If the beneficiary is registered, click on the beneficiary ID and open the registration form;
d. Click on “Second Instalment” or “Third Instalment” as required to open the respective form;
e. Fill in the details as per the Second or Third Instalment respectively (follow the instructions provided in PMMVY-CAS User Manual).

First Instalment
- Form 1A – duly filled application.
- Copy of identity proof (PAN card, Ration card, Voter ID card, MGNREGS job card).
- Copy of Mother and Child Protection (MCP) card.
- Copy of Post Office or bank account passbook.
- Undertaking duly signed by the beneficiary and her husband
Second Instalment
- Form 1B – duly filled application

- Copy of childbirth registration
