nba.com/tve Activate Code: Activate NBA Channel with Activation Code on your TV
To activate your NBA Channel on your Smart TV, login into nba.com/tve and enter the activation code as displayed on your TV screen. In addition to desktop, tablet and mobile, NBA League Pass is available everywhere on tvOS.
The NBA App is offered on Roku (select countries), Xbox, Android TV, Playstation (select countries), Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick and Fire TV, and Chromecast. Fans can watch on Chromecast within the NBA App on mobile devices by clicking the Chromecast icon in the top right-hand corner of a game stream. To activate your NBA League Pass subscription on connected devices please follow the instructions below.
Subscription purchased through NBA.com or iTunes/Google Play
- Open the NBA App on your device.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Under the ‘My Account’ tab click ‘Sign In’.
- Type in credentials.
TV Provider Subscription:
- Open the NBA App on your device.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Under the ‘TV Provider’ tab click ‘Sign In’.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to sign in with TV Provider.
Subscription purchased on iTunes for Apple TV Only:
- Open NBA App on your device
- Tap ‘Sign In’
- Select ‘Restore Purchase’
- Type in credentials
Steps to download the NBA App on tvOS
- Open the Apple App Store on your tvOS device
- Swipe to the top of the screen and select the Search icon
- Search for NBA
- Swipe down and select the NBA App tile
- Select ‘Get’
- Select ‘Get’ again to confirm
- Select Open
Roku
The NBA app is available on Roku versions 9.x or greater and Roku 5th Generation models in the following countries:
Argentina, Australia (via Telstra TV), Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Ireland, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, United Kingdom, United States

Syncing NBA Account with your TV Provider
Access on digital platforms is available for all subscriptions purchased through TV Providers and international partners. To access your subscription on digital, you will need to login with your TV provider credentials. Please contact your TV Provider if you do not know your username and password. You cannot view or update any information associated with your TV provider, so you will need to contact your provider to reset passwords or upgrade your subscription level to include NBA TV and/or NBA League Pass.
Please follow the instructions below to login with your TV Provider:
US Web users:
- Go to nba.com
- Select ‘Sign in’ on the top right of the screen
- Select ‘Select TV Provider’
- Select your TV Provider and enter your credentials
Non-US Web users:
- Go to nba.com
- Select ‘Sign in’ on the top right of the screen
- Select the banner that displays your Provider logo
- Enter your credentials
US Mobile users:
- Tap the My Account icon on the top right
- Sign in to your NBA Account or Create an account if you don’t have one
- Once signed in, click ‘My TV Provider’ from the ‘My Account’ screen
- Select ‘Select TV Provider’
- Select your TV Provider logo and type in your credentials
Non-US Mobile users:
- Tap the My Account icon on the top right
- Tap the blue ‘Sign in’ button
- Select the banner that displays your provider logo
- Type in your Provider credentials
