Epic Games Player Support is unable to grant free items or V-Bucks upon request.
There are always opportunities for players to grab free items in Fortnite. Players can earn free items by completing in-game challenges and access free content from the Battle Pass. You can also earn free items when you secure your account with two-factor authentication (2FA).
Since many of these items are released for a specific season, they’re only available for that season. If you miss out on a cosmetic, don’t worry! There will be plenty of items to unlock in the future. In fairness to all of the players who’ve played and unlocked these items, Player Support can’t grant items upon request.
Remember, don’t trust any suspicious offers for Epic Games products like free titles or V-Bucks on external sites. Any real offers will be displayed in the Epic Games Store or on the official Epic Games websites or social media channels. If someone tells you to submit a ticket to us with a screenshot or instructions on how to get something for free, be sure to check that this is from official sources, as won’t be able to help with unofficial requests.
In order to redeem your V-Bucks card, please follow the steps below. Please keep the receipt for the V-Bucks card purchase in case you run into any issues, as the receipt might be required for us to assist you.
1. Go here and log in to your Epic Games account.
Note: Make sure that the Display Name under Account Information matches your in-game display name. If you are redeeming your card for console, you can also log in using your console credentials.
2. Hover over your Display name icon in the top right corner, and then click V-Bucks Card.
3. Click Get Started to begin the redemption process.
4. Carefully scratch off the back of your V-Bucks card to avoid damage and enter your PIN code with no dashes.
5. Click Next.
6. Select the platform you want to redeem the V-Bucks Card on, and then click Next.
Note: If you don’t see the platform you want to redeem your card on, please verify the Epic account you’re logged into, as this step will only show the device(s) linked to the account you are currently signed in.
7. Review the details and make sure the Epic account, device, and new balance are all correct, and then click Confirm.
8. If you redeemed the V-Bucks to a PC, Switch or mobile device, you can launch Fortnite and spend your V-Bucks!
9. If you redeemed the V-Bucks to your XBOX or PlayStation, a secondary code was generated and it must be entered into your Microsoft or Sony account to complete the redemption.
