To download the GATE 2024 Admit card, go to gate2024.iisc.ac.in and click on Download Tab. The candidates will most likely be allotted a centre in the examination city of their first choice. 

Admission forms for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024), administered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, will be available today, January 3, 2024. Upon their release, admit cards will be available for download at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

On February 3, 4, 10, and 11, test centers all around the nation will administer the exam.

The first session runs from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, while the second runs from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Questions on general aptitude (GA) and the candidates’ chosen subjects will make up the two halves of the exam papers. On the computer, you’ll find the test’s results.

How to download the GATE 2024 Admit Card

1) You should visit gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

2) Access the URL to download the admission card.

3) To log in, please enter your credentials.

4) Look over the GATE admission card and get a copy.

Undergraduates in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, and the Humanities can gauge their level of preparedness with GATE.

Master’s and doctoral degree programs use GATE scores as a means of entrance and financial aid. When hiring new employees, GATE results are considered by some PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings).

GATE 2024 is being conducted by IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs comprising IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee, on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.

Note: Civil Engineering (CE) and Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) will be multi-session papers.

OPPORTUNITIES

Candidates who qualify in GATE can seek admission with possible financial assistance to Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, and Humanities; and Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Engineering, Science, and Humanities, in institutions supported by Ministry of Education (MoE) and other Government agencies. GATE score is also used by some colleges and institutions for admission to postgraduate programs without MoE scholarship. Several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have also been using GATE score for recruitment.

GATE TEST PAPERS

GATE 2024 will have a total of 30 test papers comprising full papers and sectional papers. Candidates have the option to appear for one or two test papers from the allowed two-paper combinations. The GATE score obtained by the candidates will remain valid for a period of three years from the date of announcement of results.
