Epic’s battle royale game is free. And, with its stonkingly high Fortnite player numbers in mind, Epic has to make money from it somehow.

How do I redeem V-Bucks on Xbox?

Once you have your Vbucks code in hand, it’s time to redeem it. On Xbox One, go to the Microsoft Store app, select Redeem Code, and enter your code. On Xbox Series X/S, open the Store tab, find the Redeem Code box on the right side of the screen, and enter your code.

1. A 12-character or a 25-character code is generated after you click Confirm, you’ll now need to enter this code into the selected third-party website (Sony or Microsoft). This code is also emailed to you.

2. The V-Bucks redemption website will direct you to sign in to your third-party account.

Note: Be sure to sign in to the account that is linked to your Epic account. If you have multiple Sony or Microsoft accounts, it may be helpful to log in to your third-party account using an incognito window.

3. Enter the 12-character or a 25-character code and the V-Bucks will be added to your account.

If you don’t have the time to earn cosmetics through play, or you have found a pickaxe skin that simply has to be paired with your favourite outfit, then you can always just buy Fortnite.com/vbukscard.
