To submit an application for Gujarat RTE Admissions 2023-24, they need to go to rte.orpgujarat.com, the official portal of RTE Gujarat Admission.
As a prerequisite to submitting an application, they must create an account on the official website and then access it using their credentials.
In March and April of 2023, you can access the Gujarat RTE Online Application Form for the academic year 2023–24. Schools in Gujarat, both public and private, are required by law to provide free education to all students as part of the Right to Education Scheme.
Additionally, under the Right to Education Act of India, students accepted to private institutions will be eligible for a stipend of Rs 13,000 to help defray the cost of higher education.
The Gujarat RTE Admissions 2023–24 are open exclusively to students from economically backward classes; the requirements for eligibility can be seen below.
1. The candidate must have Gujarat residency status in order to be considered.
2. The candidate must be enrolled in a publicly acknowledged RTE public or private school and come from an economically backward classes
3. A student’s age must fall between five and seven years old.

Documents Required for RTE Gujarat Admission
1) Address Proof-Aadhaar Card/ Passport/ Electricity Bill/ Water Bill/ Election Card/ Driving Licence/ Ration Card/ Notarised Rent Agreement
2) Parent’s Caste Certificate-Mamlatdar, Social Welfare Officer, Taluka Development Officer or Competent Officer Certificate
3) Birth Certificate-Gram Panchayat, Nagar Palika, Maha Nagar Palika Birth Certificate/ Hospital Register Certificate/Anganvadi, Balvadi register Certificate/ Parent or Guardian’s Notarized Affidavit
4) Passport size color photograph
5) BPL- Parents who are in 0-20 score (points) of BPL category should get the certificates from following offices: (1)For Rural area: Certificate of Taluka Development Officer or Director, District Rural Development Agency. (2)For Urban area: (a)For Municipal Corporation: Deputy Municipal commissioner or competent officer authorized by the municipal corporation. (b)For Municipality: Certificate of Chief Officer of Municipality. (c)For Notified area: Certificate of Chief Executive Officer or Administrative Officer. In all those urban(city) areas, where the beneficiary list is unavailable for the BPL 0 to 20 score, the beneficiary will have to produce a BPL certificate specifying the BPL no under the BPL list issued by a competent authority. BPL ration card is not valid proof for BPL category.
6) NDNT-Mamlatdar, Social Welfare Officer, Taluka Development Officer or Competent Officer Certificate
7) An orphan, Child in Need of Care and Protection, Children belonging to Childcare Institution-Certificate of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of the concerned district.
8) Child Labour/Children of migrating Labourers-Certificate of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of concerned district Or Labour & Employment Dept Certificate.
9) Mentally Challenged Child Cerebral Palsy–Civil Surgeon Certificate
10) CWSN–Civil Surgeon certificate (minimum 40%)
11) HIV affected Children–Civil Surgeon Certificate
12) Children Of Martyred Soldiers–Certificate of the authorized person of related department.
