In collaboration with Microsoft, CBSE has launched a new Coding and Data Science curriculum.
For pupils in grades 6 to 8, the Central Board of Secondary Education has introduced a new Coding and Data Science curriculum. For students in grades 8 through 12, a data science curriculum has been implemented. For the school year 2021-22, the programmes are being presented in partnership with Microsoft.
The newly implemented curriculum emphasises critical thinking, computation, problem-solving, creativity, and exposure to new technology. In light of the new Education Policy 2020, the courses also aim to develop next-generation capabilities in students.
Manoj Ahuja, chairman of the CBSE, noted that as the world becomes increasingly reliant on technology, it is critical that children receive the necessary skills and education to flourish in this digital age. The new curriculum was created in collaboration with Microsoft in order to provide pupils with learning capabilities.
