Quizlet Live Join Code Login Account

To join a Quizlet class with a code, follow these steps:

1. Go to Quizlet: Open your web browser and navigate to the Quizlet website (https://quizlet.com/live). If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to create one first.

2. Log in: If you already have an account, log in using your credentials.

3. Click “Join or create class”: Look for this button in the top right corner of the screen and click on it.

4. Enter the class code: A pop-up window will appear. Type the code provided by your teacher or class creator into the box labeled “Class code.”

5. Click “Join class”: Once you’ve entered the code correctly, click the “Join class” button.

You should now be a member of the Quizlet class! You’ll have access to the study sets and other resources shared by the teacher or class creator.

Signing up for a free account

You can create a free account using your email address, Apple ID, Google account, or Facebook account.

1. To sign up with email

Go to the Quizlet homepage and select Sign up.
Enter your birthday.
Enter your email address.*
Enter a secure password.
If you’re a teacher, check I am a teacher.
Select Sign up.
Check your email and confirm your account.

2. To sign up with Google

If you have a Google account, you can quickly sign up using that account.

Go to the Quizlet homepage and select Sign up.
Select Continue with Google.
If you aren’t already logged in to Google, enter your Google username and password.
Enter your birthday, if prompted.
Quizlet will automatically create a username for you. Don’t worry, you can change it after signing up!
If you’re a teacher, select I am a teacher.
Select Sign up.
Check your email and confirm your account.*

You can unlink your Google account at any time.

3. To sign up with Facebook

If you have a Facebook account, you can quickly sign up using that account.

Go to the Quizlet homepage and select Sign up.
Select Continue with Facebook.
If you aren’t already logged in to Facebook, enter your Facebook username and password.
Select Continue as to grant Quizlet permission to use your Facebook account. (We’ll need to view your public profile, friends, email address, and birthday.)
Quizlet will automatically create a username for you. Don’t worry, you can change it after signing up!

Select Sign up.

Question types

The question types on Quizlet were carefully designed to help you study effectively and efficiently. When you answer written questions from memory (instead of copying over answers), this requires effortful retrieval or “recall”, which really helps you learn. Multiple choice questions are designed to get you through more questions in less time, with the added bonus of helping you learn the incorrect answer choices. If you study with flashcards or multiple choice questions, make sure to try to recall the right answer before you look at the solution!

Guidance fading

Learning is most effective when you get more instructional support early on, but gradually receive less and less until the guidance has “faded” completely and you’re doing all the work on your own. Quizlet provides this progression by moving you from easier multiple choice questions to more challenging written questions when you study with Quizlet’s Learn mode. When you start studying, you might get multiple choice answers correct by process of elimination, or simply by recognizing the right answer, without practicing recall like you would with written questions.
