Schedule an appointment is easy!
We are using CDC’s Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS) to manage appointments. If you do not have a VAMS account, here’s what you need to do:
- Click “Schedule your first appointment” to get started.
- Select a location, date, and time to schedule your appointment.
- Confirm your appointment. Enter your information to create your VAMS account or complete as a guest.
We encourage you to create an account so that you can easily manage your appointment and schedule your second dose. If you create an account, you will also be able to download a certificate of your vaccination status after you receive your second dose!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- You will receive an email prompting you to complete a prevaccination questionnaire about your health in VAMS approximately 24 hours before your appointment. This may also be completed at your appointment if necessary.
- If you got your first dose somewhere else and just want to get a second dose at one of these clinics, follow the steps above to schedule your appointment.
- If you create an account, you can cancel or reschedule your appointment in VAMS by logging in.
- If you do not create an account, click on the “Manage appointments” link to manage your appointments. You will need to verify your name, date of birth, and email or cell phone and a temporary code will be provided to log in and manage your appointment. You can also cancel an appointment using the link in your appointment reminder email.
- VAMS is currently available in English and Spanish. Users can change their web browser settings to their desired language as an alternative. If you need assistance in another language or have difficulty using the online systems, please call 703-324-7404.
