1. Laser-designate the vehicle

There are two main ways:

A) Use a Laser Designator Gadget (SOFLAM–style)

• Hold the target until it becomes “Laser Marked” (you’ll see a diamond-style lock tone or icon).

B) Have a teammate laser-designate

• Teammates using laser designators, reconnaissance drones, or vehicle optics (like a tank commander) can mark targets for you.

2. Use a Lock-on Weapon

Once the vehicle is laser-marked, you need to damage it using weapons that take advantage of the designation:

Infantry Lock-on Weapons

These usually work:

• Javelin-style launcher (best option — gains top attack when target is lased)

• Guided Missile Launcher variants

• Any launcher that says “Requires Laser Designation for Lock”

  “Enhanced Lock-on vs Laser Marked Targets”

Vehicle Lock-on Weapons

These also count:

• Attack helicopter guided missiles

• Jet guided missile systems

• IFV or APC guided/laser-homing missiles
