Activate NAB Card at nab.com.au/activate : Activate your new NAB Card and Set your PIN

To activate your new NAB Card, Login into nab.com.au/activate on your device. Tap Cards in the bottom menu. Your new card will say ‘Activate’. Tap the card. To activate your card, tap Activate card.

There’s just one thing to be aware of – you’ll need to be registered for SMS Security to activate your card and set your PIN via the NAB app and NAB Internet Banking.

You can easily activate your new card in the NAB app or NAB Internet Banking.

To activate your NAB card, follow these steps:

1. NAB App (Android/iOS):

  • Log into the NAB app.
  • Tap the Menu icon.
  • Select “Cards.”
  • Find your new card labeled “Activate.”
  • Tap the card and choose “Activate card.”
  • Enter the last eight digits of your card.
  • Set a four-digit PIN and confirm it.
  • You’ll receive a verification code via SMS to your registered number.
  • Enter the code and tap “Continue.” Your card is now activated.

2. NAB Internet Banking:

  • Log in to your NAB Internet Banking account.
  • Go to the “Services & preferences” section.
  • Select “Activate card.”
  • Follow the prompts to complete the activation process.

3. Phone Activation:

  • Call NAB’s customer service at their dedicated activation number.
  • Provide the necessary details, including your card number and personal information.
  • They will guide you through the activation steps.

How to activate your card and set a PIN

Activating your card and setting the PIN is quick and easy using online banking. Read our helpful guide to learn how.

Choose your preferred device

Select the type of device you use to bank online and follow the step-by-step instructions to activate your card and set the PIN.

1. Log into the NAB app on your device.

2. Tap the Menu icon in the top left-hand corner.

3. In the list, tap Cards.

4. Your new card will say ‘Activate’. Tap the card.

5. To activate your card, tap Activate card.

6. Enter the last eight digits of your card. Tap Next set a PIN.

7. Enter a four-digit PIN.

8. Re-enter your four-digit PIN.

9. You will receive an SMS security code. Enter the code and tap Continue.

10. Your card has been successfully activated.
