The Indian Air Force admission cards for Group X and Y examinations in 2021 have been announced by the Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB). Candidates who applied for the recruitment exam can check and download their hall tickets on the official website – airmenselection.cdac.in.

The Airmen selection exam will take place from July 12 to 18 at various locations across the country. “STAR 01/21 Online Examination, which was initially scheduled from 18-24 April 21, has been postponed owing to COVID second wave,” according to information on the website. From July 12 to July 18, an online examination will be held across India.”

The exam date and city name are also visible on the candidate’s individual login on the CASB portal, according to the board. For appearing candidates, the admit card will be provided just 24 to 48 hours prior to the exam day.

The IAF Airmen recruiting exam was originally slated to take place from 18 to 24 April, however it was postponed due to the country’s second coronavirus outbreak.

IAF Group X and Y

To obtain the IAF Group X and Y admission card, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to airmenselection.cdac.in, which is the official website.

Step 2: Select “Login for intake 01/22” from the Candidate tab (top middle).

Step 3: After clicking, the candidate will be directed to a new page on the CASB website.

Step 4: The applicant must then sign in using their email address and password, as well as the captcha text.

Step 5: The IAF Group X and Y admission card will show on the screen in a matter of seconds.

Step 6: The candidate can save or print the results for future reference (if required)

Exam Pattern for Airmen in the IAF:

For the Group X Exam, there will be questions from the CBSE 10+2 syllabus in English, Physics, and Mathematics. The online examination will take 60 minutes to complete.

For the Group Y Exam, there will be English questions based on the CBSE 10+2 syllabus, as well as Reasoning and General Awareness questions. The exam will take 45 minutes to complete.

Both group X and Y Trades: The exam will last 85 minutes and will cover English, Physics, and Maths as per the CBSE 10+2 syllabus, as well as Reasoning and General Awareness.

Candidates should be aware that each correct answer will receive 1 point, while each incorrect response will receive 0.25 point.
