AspireTV is dedicated to deliver enlightening and entertaining programming to African-American families that reflect positive images of the African-American community. In addition, aspireTV was launched to create new and unique opportunities for the next generation of the African-American creative community.

It is the first television network dedicated to shining a light on the positive images and achievements of African Americans. It is focused on creating new opportunities for African Americans: writers, producers, directors, actors, musicians, dancers and executives who create films, television series, music arts and new media will look to aspireTV as the network home to get their stories told and work exhibited.

How To Install Aspire TV App on All Devices

Android (TV) Boxes

You can install the Aspire TV app on your Supported Android Box by doing the following:

1. Go to the Home screen on your Device.
2. Go to the Google Play Store on your device.
3. In the Google Play Store search for “Aspire TV”.
4. Click on the Aspire TV app.
5. Click “Install” on the app store.
6. After the download has finished click “Open”.

When the Aspire TV app has opened sign in with the email address and password you have associated with your Aspire TV account.

You can now start enjoying all the great content that Aspire TV has to offer!

Roku

You can add the Aspire TV channel to your Roku by:

1. On the Roku home page, select “Streaming Channels“
2. Select “Search Channels“
3. Type in “Aspire TV”
4. Select “Aspire TV”
5. Download the channel
6. Sign in to Aspire TV with the email address and password that you used to sign up for Aspire TV.
7. Then you will be able to access all of the great content we offer.

Android Phones & Tablets

You can install the Aspire TV app on your supported Android device by doing the following:

1. Go to the Google Play store on your Android device.
2. Search the Google Play store for “Aspire TV”.
3. Select the Aspire TV app and download it to your device.
4. Once it has downloaded, open the app.
5. Sign in using your username and password created when registering for Aspire TV.

Apple iPhones & iPads

To add Aspire TV to your iPhone & iPad please do the following:

1.  Search the App Store for “Aspire TV” and download the app onto your Apple device.
2.  Open the Aspire TV app on your Apple device.
3.  Sign in with the email address and password you registered your Aspire TV membership with and start streaming!

Apple TV

You can install the Aspire TV app on your Apple TV by doing the following:

1. On the home screen of the TV, you will see the App store icon. Navigate to and select it.
2. At the top of the screen, you will see: “Featured, Top Charts, Categories, Purchased, and Search. Navigate to and select Search.
3. In the text box, type in Aspire TV. You will see the app appear.
4. Select the app and select “Download. Upon downloading the app, enter your email and the password created when you created your Aspire TV account. You will then be able to access all of our content.

Chromecast for Android

1. Go to your supported Android devices home screen.
2. Go to the Google Play store on your Android device.
3. Search for the Aspire TV app.
4. Click on the Aspire TV app in the Play Store.
5. Click on “Install” in the Play Store.
6. Once you have completed the download go back to the play store to download the Chromecast app.
7. Go to the Google Play Store.
8. Search for the Chromecast app.
9. Click on the Chromecast app in the Play Store.
10. Click on “Install” in the Play Store.
11. Once you have completed the download, verify that both the Android device and the Chromecast are connected to the same WiFi.
12. Open the Aspire TV app.
13. Click on the Chromecast icon in the upper right of the screen.
14. Then select your Chromecast device.
15. Select a title and tap play to start casting.

Chromecast for Apple

You can cast from your supported Android device to your external Chromecast by doing the following:

1. Go to your supported Apple devices home screen.
2. Go to the App Store.
3. Search for the Aspire TV app.
4. Click on the Aspire TV app in the App Store.
5. Click on “Get” (in some cases there could be a Cloud icon as it may have been downloaded before).
6. Once you have completed the download, verify that both your Apple device and the Chromecast device are connected to the same WiFi.
7. Open the Aspire TV app.
8. Click on the Chromecast icon in the upper right of the screen.
9. Then select your Chromecast device.
10. Select a title and tap play to start casting.

Xbox One

1. Start on the Xbox One dashboard and go all the way to the right on the Xbox One dashboard using the left analog stick or the directional pad.
2. Select “Search” in the lower right-hand side of the screen.
3. Using the on-screen keyboard search for “Aspire TV”.
4. Please select the Aspire TV app when it appears in the search results at the top of your screen.
5. On the screen for the Aspire TV app, select “Get” on the right-hand side of your screen.
6. Once installed, use the on-screen keyboard to sign in with your email and password matched to your Aspire TV membership

Fire Stick/TV/Cube

To find Pure Flix on an Amazon Fire device:

• Click the “Home” button (looks like a house on the remote)
• At the top scroll to the left to the magnifying glass “Search”
• Type “Aspire TV” (without spaces)
• Click on the word “Aspire TV”
• Scroll down to “Apps & Games”
• Select the “Aspire TV” app
• Click the Cloud Icon “Download”

Kindle Fire Tablets

You can install the Pure Flix app on your Kindle Fire Tablet by doing the following:

1. Press the “Home” button on the Fire Tablet
2. Navigate to and Select “AppStore” (looks like a white box with the word APPS)
3. Click “Search” at the top right (looks like a magnifying glass)
4. Type “Aspire TV” and click the magnifying glass to search
5. Click “Download” on the Aspire TV app
6. When the download finishes click “Open”

LG Smart TV’s

As long as you have a supported LG Smart TV you can install the Aspire TV app on your Samsung Smart TV by doing the following:

1. Click “Home” (looks like a house on the remote)
2. Scroll to the left and select “Search” (looks like a magnifying glass)
3. Type “Aspire TV” in the search bar
4. Under “Apps” select the Aspire TV app
5. Select “Install”
6. Click “Launch”
