Louisiana State University’s Athletic Training Program is a graduate professional program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education. As the Flagship institution in the state, LSU is a leading research-extensive university and its main campus located in Baton Rouge.
The Master of Science in Athletic Training is built around 60 credit hours of required clinical and classroom coursework to satisfy: the program’s accreditation requirements set forth by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE); and for the student to meet eligibility requirements to sit for the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification examination and state licensure requirements to practice as an athletic trainer upon graduation.

Grand View’s Master of Science in Athletic Training degree offers a rigorous program to prepare students for a rewarding career as a certified athletic trainer. The program focuses on evidence-based practice using the latest technology and research. This degree program began in Fall 2017.
