The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has made the application form for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2021 available via a direct link on their website. Candidates who meet the requirements can submit their KCET application form online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. July 10, 2021, will be the last day to submit an online application form for the KCET 2021 competition.

Applications for the entrance exam are exclusively accepted online, and no paper applications are permitted. Candidates must first visit the official website, kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, to familiarise themselves with the examination process. They must complete the KCET registration process in order to obtain an application number, a user id, and a password.

Candidates can proceed to log in and submit the KCET application form after completing the registration process successfully. Fill out the necessary information, such as basic student information, address, reservation details, and exam details, among others. Afterwards, upload the scanned photos of the required documentation and pay the applicable application fee.

Steps to Register for KCET 2021:

Step 2: Click on the “KCET 2021 application form” link.

Step 3: Complete the registration process. Upon successful registration, login credentials will be shared on email ID.

Step 4: Login using the credentials and fill the KCET 2021 application form.

The candidates will be able to make corrections to their application forms from July 19-22. The admit cards for the exam will be able from August 13 onwards.

Fees

The Karnataka Examinations Authority specifies the amount of the KCET application fee. According to the previous year’s results, candidates belonging to the GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B categories of Karnataka must pay Rs. 500/-, whereas candidates belonging to the SC/ST/CAT-1 categories of Karnataka and female candidates of Karnataka must pay Rs. 250/-.

Those who do not have a legal residence in Karnataka are required to pay a Rs. 750/- application fee. The fee can be paid online or offline using a debit card, a credit card, net banking, or an e-challan, among other payment methods. The application fee must be paid by July 13, 2021, otherwise it will be forfeited.

Documents

Candidates will need to submit specific documents in order to complete the application process easily and accurately. These documents will verify the authenticity of the information provided. They should keep their mark sheets and certificates from classes 10 and 12, as well as their Aadhar card, income certificate, and caste certificate.

In addition, scanned photos of the applicant’s photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression must be uploaded to the website. All of these scanned photographs should have a file size ranging from 05 KB to 40 KB, with measurements of 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm for all of the photographs.

The correction of KCET application forms will begin on July 19, 2021, according to the organisation. In order to be considered, candidates must address any errors in their application form within the time frame specified. They must log into the candidate’s profile using the application number and password that was provided to them. It is anticipated that application form corrections will be completed by July 22, 2021.

Candidates are neither required to upload any certificates/documents in support of their claim in the online application nor to send it to KEA. However the candidates, in their own interest, must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the Test / admission to relevant courses. In the event of any ineligibility being detected by the Government / KEA / University / Apex Body at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.

D.Devaraja Urs Backward Classes’ Development Corporation extends study loan to needy students whose annual family income does not exceed Rs.3.50 lakhs under `Arivu’ Scheme.
