The Foxtel Error Code PE6007 means Problems with network connectivity, an overloaded server, incompatibility with the user’s operating system, browser, or applications, geographical restrictions, or app or browser malfunctions could all contribute to the error.
Check that you have a solid connection to the internet. Make sure your device is running on the latest software. Check you’re not using a VPN (Virtual Private Network). Due to rights and licensing agreements, Foxtel Now can’t be viewed on a VPN.
The PE8000 error code on the Foxtel Go app for iPhone is typically associated with issues related to the app’s authentication or connectivity.
If your Foxtel Now box is crashing, freezing or running slowly, there are a few things that you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
Step 1: Perform a soft reset
- On the underneath of the box, locate the ‘reset’ button
- Using a ballpoint pen or paperclip, press down on the button for less than 4 seconds and release it to restart the box
(Warning: pressing the reset button for more than 4 seconds will initiate a full factory reset) - Click ‘Begin Test’ in the middle of the screen. This test can take up to 30-40 seconds
Step 2: Perform a power cycle
Unplug the power and wait for at least one minute before turning the device back on.

Step 3: Perform a factory reset
- On the underneath of the box, locate the ‘reset’ button
- Using a ballpoint pen or paperclip, press down on the button for less than 4 seconds, or until you see the ‘Factory data reset’ screen
(Warning: By following these steps, you will delete any settings or installed apps that you may have on the box) - Using your remote control, select ‘Factory data reset’ and press the OK button
- Select ‘Erase everything’ and press the OK button
- Once the box has been restarted, complete guided setup, login using your Foxtel Now account and reinstall any apps from the Google Play Store.

My Foxtel Now box won’t turn on
Step 1: Wake up the remote control
After you have checked that your TV is powered on:
- Press the power button on the remote.
- Press the volume +/- buttons at least 5 times.
- If you see the volume bar on the TV screen AND the LED light underneath the Foxtel Now box flashes orange, then your remote is working successfully.
Step 2: Check power outlet and cables
- Confirm whether there are any red/green LED lights on, on the bottom of your Foxtel Now box
- Re-set all cables going into the power outlet, your TV and the Foxtel Now box
- Confirm whether other devices work when plugged into the same power outlet
- If using a power board, confirm that it is switched on
- Try a different power extension cable or power board
- Confirm whether there are any power outages in your area
Step 3: Re-set the HDMI cable
- Unplug the HDMI cable from both the TV and Foxtel Now box
- Wait for 1 minute before plugging them back in
Step 4: Confirm that your TV is set to the correct HDMI input
- Follow the HDMI cable from the back of the Foxtel Now box into your TV
- Note the HDMI port number that the cable is plugged into on your TV (e.g. HDMI 2)
- Using your TV remote control, set the TV input mode to the corresponding HDMI input (e.g. HDMI 2)
Step 5: Connect the Foxtel Now box to a different HDMI port
Step 6: Enable support for ‘HDMI CEC’ so that the TV turns on with the Foxtel Now box
- Navigate to ‘Settings’ via the cog icon in the top-right of the screen
- Select ‘System Settings’
- Select ‘Go to system settings’ (on the right-hand side)
- Select ‘HDMI’
- Enable ‘HDMI CEC’
Step 7: Connect the box to a different TV or monitor
Connect the box to a different TV or monitor.
