Henry Ruggs is charged with DUI death after a major car accident.
Ruggs will be charged with DUI causing death, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
According to TMZ, Henry Ruggs III, the wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, was seriously injured in a car accident on Tuesday in Las Vegas. Ruggs was injured in the crash “sometime around 3:40 a.m.” and his health is unknown at this time. The crash site is shown in a photograph published by TMZ.

Despite Metro Police dispatching deadly investigators to the location, no injuries or fatalities have been confirmed, according to the article.
On November 2, at approximately 3:39 a.m., the LVMPD responded to a traffic collision near the intersection of South Rainbow Boulevard and South Spring Valley Parkway, involving a Chevrolet Corvette and a Toyota Rav4. Responding officers located the Toyota on fire. Fire department personnel responded and located a deceased victim inside the Toyota.

The preliminary investigation indicates the front of the Chevrolet collided with the rear of the Toyota. The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 22-year-old Henry Rugs Ill, remained on scene and showed signs of impairment. He was transported to UMC hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Ruggs will be charged with DUI resulting in death. This is an on-going investigation.
The Raiders had a bye week and will visit the New York Giants in Week 9 in New Jersey.
