How do you activate screen mirroring on a Samsung TV?
To activate screen mirroring, you can use Miracast, a function that works on android and Windows devices.
Miracast is a wireless technology your PC or your phone can use to project your screen to TVs, projectors, and streaming media players that also support Miracast. You can use this to share what you’re doing on your screen, present a slide show, or even play your favorite game on a larger screen.
With your PC/phone and display ready to project, you need to go to Settings and click Devices, then select the wireless display from your device. Both devices need to be within range, which usually means that they’re in the same room.
If you want to disconnect, just go back to Miracast, Devices and tap Disconnect.
While screen mirroring, make sure you have good connection.
Hope this helped!
- There is an app built in to the TV, you can cast to that
- You can use a streaming device, such as a Roku. Roku (and I’m sure others) has a casting app. Plug the streaming device in to your TV. You can cast to it plus you get tons of free channels plus pay channels as well. Many more than come with the TV.
- You can use Google Chrome cast. Plug it in to your TV.
Each app should show up using a network search. So you use, say, Google cast and it should display whatever app you’ve chosen.
