How To Activate ADCB Debit Card
To activate your new ADCB Debit Card, Login to ADCB Personal Internet Banking at http://www.adcb.com/ or Call 600 50 2030 if you are an Easy Pay Debit Card or Etihad Guest Above Aspire Card holder.
The ADCB Debit Card with MasterCard® logo also offers you a ‘contactless’ way of making payments using the patented PayPassâ„¢, technology from MasterCard® Worldwide. It is a ‘contactless’ way to pay for purchases generally of transactions upto a value of AED 100* without asking for PIN or signature.
For purchases of higher value transactions, the contactless reader will prompt for either the PIN or signature or the card will have to be swiped or inserted at the point of sale terminal and your PIN or signature is still required.
How do I get started once I have received my Debit card?
Two simple steps
1. Activate your Debit Card
2. Select your Personal Identification Number (PIN) for retail purchases and cash withdrawal.
In case of account/segment transition, please activate your new debit card within 60 days of receipt to enjoy the full list of benefits attached to your card.
If you do not activate your ADCB Chip and PIN Debit Card, you will not be able to enjoy the convenience of making payments or using it for cash withdrawal at the ATMs.
How do I activate my ADCB Chip and PIN Debit Card and select my PIN?
To activate and set PIN
- SMSÂ ACT space last 6 digits of card number space 4 digits of your choice for PINÂ to 2626Â For example:Â ACT 123456 7854
Please note that you need to send the SMS from your registered mobile number on ADCB’s records.
OR
- Login to ADCB Personal Internet Banking if you have registered to ADCB Personal Internet Banking
OR Call
- 600 50 2030 if you are an Easy Pay Debit Card or Etihad Guest Above Aspire Card holder.
- 800 8008 if you are a Privilege Club Debit Card or Etihad Guest Above Privilege Club Card holder.
- 800 2004 if you are an Excellency Debit Card or Etihad Guest Above Excellency Card holder.
Please note that only you as the primary cardholder can activate and set /change the PIN for the supplementary card.
If you do not activate your ADCB Chip and PIN Debit Card, you will not be able to enjoy the convenience of making payments or using it for cash withdrawal at the ATMs.
To which account will the Chip and PIN Debit Card be linked to?
The principal account that the Chip and PIN Debit Card will be linked to can have up to 10 additional accounts added to it. When making a cash purchase, you can select the account from which the funds will be withdrawn. This feature is exclusive to ADCB ATMs.
For retail transactions, the primary account is automatically selected.
How will the card/s be delivered to me?
The card will be delivered to you either by mail or by courier at the address as per ADCB’s records provided by you.
The supplementary card/s will be delivered to you (primary card holder) either by mail or by courier at the address as per ADCB’s records provided by you.
