How To Cancel Spectrum Internet : Change or Cancel Your Spectrum Service

If you disconnect your other Spectrum services, your WiFi speeds will be reduced, and you won’t be able to add new lines of service or upgrade your device. You’ll still be able to change your Spectrum Mobile data plan for existing lines on your account.

All equipment issued by Spectrum for use with any Spectrum TV, Spectrum Internet or Spectrum Voice services remains the property of Spectrum.

Note: If we haven’t received a request to disconnect your service(s), you’ll continue to be billed for your regular monthly service charges. If you want to discontinue services, please call (833) 267-6094

Mobile customers who disconnect all of their other Spectrum services will no longer receive a bundle discount on their Spectrum Mobile Service.

If you’re moving out of the Spectrum coverage area or planning on downgrading services, give us a call before returning any leased equipment. You’re responsible for returning modems, routers, Spectrum receivers and any auxiliary equipment provided by Spectrum. You’re not required to return any remotes, splitters or cables that came with your equipment.

On Demand and Pay-Per-View purchases, as well as long-distance calls made without a Spectrum Voice International Calling Plan, can change your amount due each month.

UPS Return

You can easily return your old equipment by bringing it to any The UPS Store location. Advise The UPS Store center associate that you are returning Spectrum equipment, and they will package and ship it to Spectrum at no cost to you. Remember to save your receipt for tracking purposes.

Home Shipment Return Kit

If you are unable to visit a UPS or Spectrum store, you can request a Home Shipment Return Kit by contacting at  https://www.spectrum.net/contact-us.

  1. When you request a Home Shipment Return Kit, you will receive a cardboard box with a return label and bubble wrap.
  2. After your package the equipment, return the box to a FedEx store or dropoff box.

Unreturned Equipment Fees

If you fail to return all rented or leased equipment to Spectrum after you cancel or downgrade your services, an unreturned equipment fee may be charged to your account. This fee will be included in your total account balance.

Adding TV Channels, Packages or Service

You can upgrade your existing Spectrum TV, Home Phone or Internet service by signing in to Spectrum.net or by tuning to Channel 2495. For more info about packages or bundles, enter your address to see what’s available in your area.

To upgrade your service through your online account:

  1. Sign in as the primary user.
  2. Select Upgrade from the menu on the left.
  3. Choose a service (TV, Internet, Home Phone or Mobile).
  4. Select from the available options.
  5. Review the upgrade plan.
  6. When you’re ready, select Purchase.

Service Holds

Seasonal status allows part-time residents to put their Spectrum TV, Internet and/or Voice services on hold for a low monthly fee, without the hassle of canceling and reinstalling service.
