1. Please visit the webpage https://www.jcpcreditcard.com/activate/
2. In the Page, First enter the 16 digit Credit card number.
3. Now enter the 3 digit security code on back of card.
4. Enter the Last 4-digits of SSN.
5. Finally Click on Activate My Card button.
6. The Card will be activated soon.
Do I need to call to activate my card before I use it?
You may need to call to activate your card. Check the label on your card for activation instructions.
Can I use my account at a JCPenney Store before I receive my card in the mail?
Yes, just bring valid photo identification to the customer service area in any JCPenney Store and they will issue you a temporary card to allow you to purchase that day in the store. Your account will be honored 24 hours after you are approved.
What account information is available online?
After you log-in you will have access to the following information:
- Account Summary – Gives you an overview of your account including: current balance, credit line, available credit, amount currently due, last bill date and a amount, last sale date and amount and last payment date and amount.
- Statements-Gives you access to view your bill online. Provides summary of your recent transactions and past 3 billing periods.
- Payments- you can pay your bill online, access your payment history or set up and edit your bank information.
- Account Service- Allows you to set up email alerts to notify you when your payment is due or when your paymenthas been received. You can also request a creditline increase, report your card as lost/stolen or request a replacement card.
- Manage Profile- You can update your address/ Phone/ email; or your security information, or change your privace option.
- Contact Us- You contact us by sending us emails through the secure online message center.
e-Services are online email message forms that let you make secure inquiries about your JCPenney account. You need to provide some personal information to log-in to ensure that your account is protected from unauthorized access. You can currently take advantage of the following online functionality:
- Notify us of a payment you recently sent or will be sending.
- Request an additional card.
- Request a statement.
- View purchase details.
- Make a payment.
- Request a credit line increase.
- Update your personal account information.
- Download your account activity.

How can I check my account balance?
You can view the account balance as of your last statement date by selecting “Account Summary” from the JCPenney Online Credit Center main menu. After you log-in you can view your balance and other account information.

How can I pay my bill?

What should I do if my payment has not been posted?
If your payment was made by mail, please allow 7-10 days from the mailing date for your payment to be processed.
If your check has been cashed and it is not showing as posted, please mail a copy of the check, front and back, to the following address:
