Jennifer Ashton, BC Chief Medical Correspondent, announced her engagement to Boston Red Sox Chairman Tom Werner on Monday’s broadcast of GMA3.
“The best New Year’s Eve I have ever had,” said the woman.
In the broadcast, Werner was not mentioned by name, but a picture of him and Ashton was shown.
Werner was referred to by Ashton as a “producer.”
The Cosby Show, Roseanne, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and That ’70s Show are just a few of the shows he produced in addition to his investment in the Fenway Sports Group.
Ashley said, “We’re all ecstatic and we think this is a sign that good can come out of this pandemic.”
