You should first register online and Login account to access the Nationwide Pet Insurance Account. In support of the need for social distancing to help flatten the curve, we’ve activated our work-from-home policy for associates and are well-prepared to handle business as usual. However, we appreciate your patience as we anticipate higher call volume.

Register for a Nationwide Pet Account Access Page
Here are step-by-step instructions on creating an account at my.petinsurance.com:
- Click the “Register an account” button or go here
- Select the “Personal/Individual Insurance and Financial Products” option
- Provide your information. Note: Additional information may be required to confirm your identity.
- Enter your mobile phone number to receive a verification code. We use two-step verification to keep your information secure.
- Create your username and password, verify your mobile number and agree to the terms and conditions.
If you’ve signed up for a new policy, you’ll be able to create an online account three business days after your application has been approved and payment has been processed.
I’m having problems creating an online account.
Try these troubleshooting tips:
- Enter your policy number exactly as it appears on your policy documents. For example, if your policy number is C-12345, it must be entered with the letter and the dash.
- Enter your name exactly as it appears on the Declarations Page of your policy. If your name is spelled incorrectly, please enter the spelling as it appears. Please contact us to correct the spelling of your name.
- Enter the phone number you provided at enrollment.
I forgot my username/password or need to reset my password.
To reset or update your password at my.petinsurance.com:
- Click the “Update password” button or go here
- Select the “Personal/Individual Insurance and Financial Products” option
- Enter your personal information exactly as it appears on your policy. Note: Additional information may be required to confirm your identity.
- Enter your mobile phone number to receive a verification code, then enter the code in the space provided.
- Confirm your username and reset your password.
Once submitted, you’ll be redirected to the login page to enter your username and new password.
Please note: If you haven’t logged on to my.petinsurance.com since March 11, 2021, you’ll need to complete a one-time password update to access your account. Visit my.petinsurance.com and click on “Update password” then follow the steps above.
