You can apply online till November 30 for Class VI admission in Navodaya Vidyalayas for the next academic year. Must be currently a fifth grader at an accredited school. Only apply to school in your own district. Those who have already won 5 should not apply. Recognized Open School students must have completed the ‘B’ Level Course. No application fee.
There are 14 schools in 14 districts of Kerala. The study is conducted in classes 6 to 12 according to the CBSE syllabus. Must stay and study on school campus. Free tuition, accommodation, food, uniforms and textbooks. There is a monthly fee of Rs.600 for classes 9–12 only. People below the poverty line, girls and Scheduled Castes do not have to pay this fee either.
Must not have been born before May 1, 2009 or after April 30, 2013. There is no age reduction for anyone, including
Scheduled Castes.

The 75% quota for rural students is for those who have studied in classes 3,4,5 in rural areas. If they have studied in
urban areas for at least one day at this stage they will not be considered as rural.
Malayalam medium up to eight. Then Maths and Science in English and Social Science in Hindi. You can appear for the CBSE exams on 10th and 12th. One-third of the seats are for girls. Scheduled Caste / Tribe reservation is proportional to the population of the district. But not less than 15 / seven and a half per cent respectively. The combination of the two does not exceed 50 per cent.
As per Central Government norms for differently abled. Admission to up to 80 seats in each school. Students entering class 9 will have to move to a school somewhere in the Hindi areas and study for a year.
The entrance examination will be held on April 30. The selection is based on the performance of the test to be held on April 30, 2022. Its structure is as follows:
∙ Mental Ability: 40 questions, 50 marks, 60 minutes
Arithmetic: – 20 questions, 25 marks, 30 minutes
∙ Language: 20 questions, 25 marks, 30 minutes
∙ Total: 80 objective questions, 100 marks, 120 minutes.
Wrong marks will not be deducted.
The examination can be written in the language learned by the child in the fifth class. Exam results will be available in June. You are allowed to write this exam only once. See the prospectus for more information, including the test samples in the test
