Despite the situation that the pandemic has created, do not hesitate to seek help if the need arises. If you’re looking for a physician or would like to make an appointment with your clinic or with a family medicine group (FMG), the Quebec Medical Appointment Scheduler (QMAS or also referred to as RVSQ) is available to assist you.
Simple to use, confidential and free, the QMAS offers several consultation time slots. It’s a convenient and user-friendly way to book an appointment with Frontline Services, without having to wait.
Several of the FMGs and clinics of CIUSSS West-Central Montreal offer telephone appointments through the QMAS.
How to do it
- Visit the QMAS website to make an appointment with your family doctor. If no slot is available at a time that suits you, contact your clinic or FMG by phone to find out what is available.
- Choose the QMAS extended search option for an appointment with another healthcare professional at your clinic or at another nearby healthcare facility.
- You can also use the QMAS site to make an appointment at another clinic, if you do not have a family doctor or if the clinic where your physician practices is closed.
No matter which option you choose, your consultation take place by phone, unless you are otherwise advised by the clinic. Depending on the nature of the medical assessment that is made over the phone, you may be referred to a clinic for a further consultation.
Because of the pandemic, no medical clinics are accepting walk-in patients.
