Toy Story: The Motion Picture is about the real Buzz Lightyear, or a fictional Buzz Lightyear.
When Disney and Pixar released the trailer for Lightyear at 7:39 p.m. on December 10, 2020, they called it the “definitive storey of the original Buzz Lightyear. Chris Evans wrote on Twitter after watching the 30-second clip of a realistically rendered Buzz Lightyear flying through space in a spaceship: “I don’t even have the words.” However, he was not without a few choice words.
When it comes to Buzz Lightyear, have you ever wondered what his backstory was? Not the beloved Toy Story action figure, but the real-life space ranger? Lightyear, the upcoming film from Disney and Pixar, will attempt to answer that question. Described as “the definitive origin storey of Buzz Lightyear,” the first trailer looks like a sci-fi adventure film in the vein of Star Wars, complete with cool spaceships and futuristic alien worlds.. Chris Evans, best known for his work in action films, provides the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the film. Finding Dory co-director Angus MacLane will serve as the film’s director.

You may have forgotten about Lightyear’s announcement last year, as it was part of a wave of more than 50 updates from Disney. Both Pixar and Toy Story have taken on a new tone as a result of this. According to Disney, the film will be released in theatres on June 17, 2022; however, it’s unclear whether or not it will also be available on Disney Plus.
As stunned onlookers tried to make sense of the announcement, Evans finally explained what Lightyear was all about at 8:14 p.m. This isn’t Buzz Lightyear the toy, to be clear,” he wrote. This is the storey of the real Buzz Lightyear, on whom the toy is based.
‘Succession’ Season 3 Trailer: The Roy Family Battle Royale
Disney released the first trailer for its upcoming film, Lightyear, on Wednesday. In terms of visual style, it looks like a cross between Interstellar and Star Wars, complete with Pixar cartoons. It was only when I saw the close-ups on his dog tags (which note his O positive blood type) and the “hard science fiction” approach to world building that Evans’ tweet resurfaced. Was the character of Buzz Lightyear based on a real person?
To celebrate the release of the new film, Chris Evans will be lending his voice to the character of Buzz Lightyear and is thrilled to be a part of the franchise.
“Animated films were a huge part of my early life. They served as a means of escape for me. These are the tales of my travels. Captain America wrote on Twitter, “My dreams.”
“They opened my eyes to the wonders of storytelling and performance.
Thanks don’t even begin to express our gratitude to Pixar and Angus MacLane.
