ttp.cbp.dhs.gov Login and Activate Card : How do I check my CBP status?

To schedule an in-person interview, log in to your Trusted Traveler account at ttp.cbp.dhs.gov and navigate to your dashboard. The Schedule Interview option will allow you to choose an interview slot if you’ve been conditionally approved.

Members of Global Entry can use the expedited processing lanes at U.S. airports known as Trusted Traveller lanes, also known as NEXUS and SENTRI lanes. To use the Global Entry kiosks, a card is not required.

Login.gov is for secure sign in only. Your Login.gov account does not affect or have any information about your Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) application, membership, or eligibility. Please do not send Login.gov sensitive data about yourself or identifying membership numbers.

Login.gov can only answer questions about the sign-in process and creating a Login.gov account.

Please contact the Trusted Traveler Programs directly if you have questions regarding:

  • Application status or changes to your application
  • Eligibility
  • Scheduling or changing appointments
  • Or other related concerns

Important notes:

  • Your Known Traveler Number (KTN) will not change when you create a Login.gov account
  • You do not need to pay for TTP again when you create a Login.gov account unless it is time to renew your membership

To access your Trusted Traveler Programs account information, visit https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/.

Global Entry cards are issued to Global entry members who are U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents and Mexican nationals.

Activating Your Global Entry Card

To activate your card, log into your Trusted Traveler Program (TPP) account.  After you log in, click on the “Activate Membership Card” button under the Program Membership(s) section.

Using Your Global Entry Card

We accept Global Entry cards for lawful U.S. entry at land and sea ports of entry.

Global Entry cards have radio frequency identification chips, which enable their use at Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection (SENTRI) and NEXUS travel lanes when entering the United States at the land borders. You must follow all program rules for SENTRI when using this card at the Southern land border ports of entry.

You may use this card for expedited entry into the United States via the SENTRI and NEXUS lanes. The card is not valid for entry into Canada via the NEXUS lanes.

Only your passport or lawful permanent resident card are accepted at Global Entry kiosks. The Global Entry card cannot be used at Global Entry kiosks. NEXUS cards are accepted at Global Entry kiosks located on Canadian Preclearance Airports.

Trusted Traveler Programs

Verify your identity

Some participating agencies require you to complete an identity verification process. Identity verification is the process where you prove you are you – and not someone pretending to be you

You only need to verify your identity once for your Login.gov account. After you verify your identity with Login.gov for one government application, you don’t need to do it again for other government applications that use Login.gov and require identity verification. You are not required to upload a picture of yourself or take a selfie for identity verification

Use this help section to understand the process and requirements for identity verification.

Your Trusted Traveler membership date is not dependent on the passport expiration date. Membership will remain valid, even if the passport expires. To minimize unnecessary delays, please update your documents on the TTP website.

How do I check my CBP status?

Travelers may check their admission status at https://I94.cbp.dhs.gov and clicking on the ‘View Compliance’ tab. E-mail notifications will come from travelercompliance@cbp.dhs.gov.

If your notification e-mail did not come from this address, it may be a phishing scam or other fraudulent e-mail.

How do I apply for TTP?

  1. Use the Trusted Travelers Programs (TTP) website;
  2. Submit an application and go through a registration process;
  3. Satisfy the eligibility criteria;
  4. Be admissible in Canada and the United States; and.
  5. Pass risk assessments by both countries.

What is a CBP entry number?

The entry number is comprised of the 3-character filer code, followed by the 7-digit entry number, and completed with the one digit check digit.

Entry Filer Code represents the 3-character alphanumeric filer code assigned to the filer or importer by Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
