Every incorrect answer in the UPSC Prelims Exam carries a penalty, which is known as negative marking. If a question is answered incorrectly, you will lose a third of your total score.
On the 10th of October, from 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) held the Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2021 General Studies Paper 1.
All sets of question papers, i.e. versions A, B, C and D have been released since the General Studies Paper 1 exam has been completed.
The General Studies Paper-II, also known as the CSAT, has a time limit of two hours and is a qualifying examination. Paper 1 is administered in the morning, followed by Paper 2 in the evening.
The topics covered in paper 1 include Indian politics and history; geography; the economy; art and culture; current affairs; and science & technology, among other things. Paper 2 will cover these topics and more.
