Enroll with a Teacher Code
Before students can enroll in a course using your unique teacher code, they must have their own CareerSafe Campus accounts. Students can create an account by navigating to the
CareerSafe Campus website, clicking
“Create an Account” at the top of the login box, and filling in the required information on the following screens.
Once the student has created their account and login credentials, they will see a screen with an option to “Enroll with a Teacher Code”. This is where students creating new accounts should enter your unique teacher code.
Once students have entered the code and clicked the “Submit” button, they will see a new section on their home screen that says Pending Seat Requests. The student is now waiting for teacher approval of their enrollment.
As the teacher, you can approve a student’s request to join your CareerSafe course by logging in to your account and clicking “Manage Requests” in the Pending Enrollments section of your home screen.
On the next screen, click [approve] next to the name of the verified student. Now your student is successfully enrolled and ready to begin the CareerSafe course.
Please note: You may also approve multiple students at once by selecting the checkboxes next to each student’s name and clicking the “Approve all checked students” button.
How to take a knowledge check:
While progressing through the course, you will frequently encounter “knowledge checks” that will test your progress. Simply read the question and select the answer that best answers the question. To finalize your response for that question, click the “Submit” button. If you ever have any questions about a slide, click the “Accessibility” button on the top right side of the screen. To mute the narration, click the “Mute” button at the bottom middle of your screen.
Some slides are composed of videos. All videos have sound, so be sure to turn on your speakers or headphones so that you may hear the audio. When listening to a narrator video, there are captions available for you to read on the bottom of the video in case you do not have access to sound on your computer. If you wish to pause the video, click the triangle icon on the bottom left of the video. If you want to mute all sound, click the volume icon on the bottom right of the video. To enlarge the video to full screen, click the square icon to the right of the volume icon. For additional options, including toggling captions, click the 3-dot icon in the bottom right corner.
