You have to wait 48 hours after purchasing Xfinity Prepaid Internet before attempting to activate your service at my.xfinityprepaid.com, if you purchased your Xfinity Prepaid Starter Kit or Modem Kit in a retail store.

To activate your Xfinity Prepaid Internet service, you have a few options:

1. Online Activation on xfinityprepaid.com:

• Visit Xfinity Prepaid Refill Payment on xfinityprepaid.com
• Sign in with your Xfinity ID
• You can make a refill payment using a credit or debit card, or buy a 30-day refill without logging in

2. Using the Xfinity Prepaid App:

• Download the Xfinity Prepaid app on your mobile phone.
• Sign in to the app with your phone number and security PIN.
• You’ll see your account status on the Summary dashboard, and you can make a payment to refill with a credit/debit card or a refill PIN.

3. Self-Install Kit Activation:

• If you’re setting up your Xfinity Prepaid Internet service using the self-install kit, follow the instructions provided in this YouTube video to install and activate your Xfinity Prepaid

You’ll need to bring your own WiFi-enabled gadget like a laptop, smartphone, or tablet to participate. A Wireless Gateway (a combination modem and router), a coaxial cable, an Ethernet cable, and an electrical cord are all part of the Internet Prepaid Starter Kit.
To establish a direct connection, rather than using WiFi, use the Ethernet cable to get a wired connection.

If you purchased your Xfinity Prepaid Starter Kit or Modem Kit in a retail store, please wait 48 hours after purchasing before attempting to activate your service at my.xfinityprepaid.com.

If you purchased your Prepaid Starter Kit or Modem Kit online or by phone, when it arrives, please visit my.xfinityprepaid.com to activate.

Note: The service included with your Prepaid Starter or Modem Kit expires 30 days from the time it is activated.

Xfinity Prepaid Internet service can only be accessed through the Wireless Gateway included in your Starter Kit.

Xfinity Prepaid Internet service offers up to 50 Mbps of download speed and up to 10 Mbps of upload speed. Actual speeds may vary and are not guaranteed.

Can I use my previous login info?

No, you’ll need to create an Xfinity ID.

In the past, you may have created an 8-digit pin that you used with your phone number to log in to your Xfinity Prepaid Services account. You will no longer be able to log in using that information.

To access and manage your account, you must create an Xfinity ID, which will allow you to log in using your email address and a new password of your choice.

• Comcast account number and street address, or
