How Do I Activate Google Gravity | Two Primary Methods

To Activate Google Gravity, open your web browser and go to google.com. In the search bar, type Google Gravity. Don’t press Enter yet — instead, click on “I’m Feeling Lucky” (or press Ctrl + Enter if “I’m Feeling Lucky” is visible).

“Google Gravity” is not a feature built into the current Google search engine, but a classic Google Easter Egg (or trick) created by a third-party developer, Mr. Doob, that simulates a zero-gravity environment for the Google homepage elements.

You can activate this effect using one of two primary methods:

💻 Method 1: The Classic (via Google Search)

  1. Open your web browser and go to google.com.

  2. In the search bar, type Google Gravity.

  3. Don’t press Enter yet — instead, click on “I’m Feeling Lucky” (or press Ctrl + Enter if “I’m Feeling Lucky” is visible).

  4. Wait a second — the entire page (logo, buttons, search bar, etc.) will fall down the screen as if gravity took over! 😄

    • You can then drag and toss the elements around with your mouse.

That’s the original “Google Gravity” project created by developer Mr. Doob, who made several fun physics-based experiments with JavaScript.

⚠️ Note

  • It doesn’t work on the real Google homepage anymore because Google disabled direct JavaScript execution there

  • It only works via the mirror link or the “I’m Feeling Lucky” trick (which redirects to the hosted version)

  • Works best on desktop browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). It might not work properly on mobile

  • A playable Pac-Man maze appears in the search results.

8. 🪐 Google Space

  • All the page elements float around in zero gravity — it’s like Google Gravity but in space!

  • (This one is a fan favorite!)

  • Search: Thanos, then click the Infinity Gauntlet 🧤 icon that appears on the info card.

  • Half of your search results “disappear” — literally dust away like in Avengers: Infinity War.

10. 🧙 Wizard of Oz

  • Search: Wizard of Oz

  • Click on Dorothy’s red shoes 👠, and the screen goes sepia with tornado sounds.

  • Click the tornado 🌀 to return to normal.

11. 🪞 Friends Easter Eggs

Each Friends character’s name triggers a unique animation:

  • Search Ross Geller, Monica Geller, Chandler Bing, Rachel Green, Phoebe Buffay, or Joey Tribbiani — click the icon that appears beside the name!

12. 🕷️ Spider-Man (or Iron Man, Batman, etc.)

Search for superheroes like:

  • Spider-Man → see fun knowledge panels

  • Batman, Iron Man, Hulk — each has themed visuals or trivia.

13. 🪄 Fidget Spinner

  • Search: fidget spinner

  • A digital spinner appears — you can switch between number and color spinner modes!

14. 🦖 Dinosaur Game (Offline Mode)

  • Turn off your Wi-Fi and open Chrome.

  • When you see the “No internet” page, press Spacebar — the little T-Rex jumps and starts the game.
