Pi Network Core Team Mainnet Migration

​The Pi Network Core Team has extended the Mainnet migration deadline to March 14, 2025, providing Pioneers additional time to complete the necessary steps for migration.​

🗓️ Key Deadlines

• KYC Submission & Mainnet Migration: Both must be completed by March 14, 2025, at 8:00 AM UTC. Failing to meet this deadline may result in the forfeiture of most of your Pi balance, except for Pi mined within the last six months prior to migration. ​

✅ Steps to Migrate to Mainnet

1. Access the Mainnet Checklist:

   • Open the Pi Network app.

   • Tap on the “Mainnet Checklist” at the top of your screen or navigate via the menu: ☰ > Mainnet > Mainnet Checklist. ​

2. Complete KYC Verification:

   • Submit your Know Your Customer (KYC) application through the app.

   • Ensure all required documents are correctly uploaded and await approval.​

3. Set Up Your Pi Wallet:

   • Download the Pi Browser App.

   • Within the app, set up your Pi Wallet and link it to your Pi account.

4. Initiate Migration:

   • Once KYC is approved and the checklist is complete, tap on “Migrate to Mainnet” in the app.

   • Your Pi balance will begin transferring to the Mainnet wallet.​

5. Understand the Pending Period:

   • After migration, there is a 14-day pending period during which your Pi is secured but not yet fully accessible.

6. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

   • To enhance security, add a trusted email and complete 2FA when prompted.

🌐 Open Network Launch

The Pi Network aims to launch its Open Network in Q1 of 2025, contingent upon reaching certain milestones, including a target of 10 million Mainnet-migrated Pioneers. As of the latest update, over 8 million Pioneers have completed migration.
